  4. Immunizations/Medical Records form must be filled out and signed by your physician. You must then email it to admissions@uhsa.edu.ag. Ensure your physician has signed it before you upload it, and please retain an additional copy of your immunization records. You will need it when you begin your clinical rotations, and we cannot return your original form to you once you submit it.
  5. COVID-19 Vaccination:While the University strongly recommends that all students receive full COVID-19 vaccination, including CDC-recommended boosters, it is not a requirement for entry into Antigua & Barbuda. However, many of the University’s affiliated clinical teaching hospitals do require full vaccination for participation in clinical training. Students who are not vaccinated may encounter significant challenges, including higher costs, delays, or even the inability to meet graduation requirements.
  6. Health Insurance: All students should have comprehensive health coverage and may elect to buy a student health insurance policy provided by Cigna should they require it. For U.K. students, a DBS check or an ACRO police certificate is sufficient. Students requiring visas must also submit this documentation as part of the immigration process. Please note: All students must provide a CBC to complete course registration.
  8. Student Identification Card: All students are required to carry their UHSA Student Identification Card at all times. This card will be provided to you and is necessary for gaining access to UHSA facilities and clinical areas. Please note that entry will not be granted without a valid identification card.
