Documents Required For Travel to Antigua
When traveling to Antigua’s V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU), you must bring the following documents.
- Your valid passport.
- Your final letter of acceptance from UHSA.
- Your return ticket with a return date within 90 days of your arrival.
- Your letter of Immigration (if a student visa is required).
Airlines require all visitors to Antigua to have a return ticket. Upon arrival, you may change the date of your return ticket. However, you are strongly advised not to travel on a one-way ticket, which can result in being denied entry into Antigua.
Immigration letter
Accepted students requiring a student visa and who have paid the seat deposit or secured financial aid will receive an immigration letter after completing the Student Travel Form. Please print out the immigration letter and carry it with you, along with your passport and acceptance letter, when you arrive at VC Bird International Airport in Antigua.

The Antigua & Barbuda Immigration office will endeavor to facilitate the e-Visa online application process of students who meet the requirements for entry. Please remember that the documents below must be submitted for processing visa applications.
- Immigration letter – Provided by UHSA.
- UHSA acceptance letter.
- Passport-sized photo.
- Scanned copy of the passport bio page.
- Proof of financial support.
- Physician’s Health Certificate.
- Yellow-Fever vaccination certificate.
- Birth Certificate.
